- The client can reveal an understanding of the condition, prognosis and action.
- Doing back lifestyle changes.
- Participate in the rule action.
Nursing Intervention :
- Explain back disease process, and prognosis as well as restrictions to avoid activities such as driving a vehicle in a long period of time.
- Provide information about a variety of things and instruct the patient to make changes "body dynamics" without the help and also do exercises including information about its own body mechanics to stand, lift and use shoe backers.
- Discuss about treatment and some side effects.
- Suggest to use the board / mat hard. Small pillows were a bit flat at the bottom of the neck, sloping bed with knees flexed avoid the prone position.
- Discuss regarding dietary needs.
- Avoid the use of heating preformance long time.
- Refer back to the use of a soft neck collar.
- Suggest to perform a medical evaluation on a regular basis.
- Provide information about the signs that need to be reported in the next evaluation as puncture pain, loss of sensation / ability to walk.
- Assess the likelihood to perform alternative treatments such as ; chemonucleolysis, surgical intervention.
